THE POLICE DEPARTMENT for a
POLICE TRAINING COORDINATOR
Annual Salary: $42,333.08 – $55,033.00 (DOQ)
The Village is seeking a person to administer all training programs for the Police Department. Identify training needs and appropriate resources for delivering training. Organize, schedule, coordinate and monitor Police Department training activities to ensure compliance with training requirements with Federal, State, and local agencies.
Applicants must have at least four years of experience as a sworn law enforcement officer.
Training experience at a police academy including experience developing, evaluating and presenting law enforcement related curriculum is desirable.
Applicants must have also successfully completed at least sixty (60) semester credit hours or possession of an associate’s degree from an accredited college or university in criminal justice, organizational development, administrative or business law, public administration, political science, management, management information systems or business administration.
Possession of a bachelor’s degree is desirable.
